Have you ever wondered why your life is the way it is? Maybe you don’t have a stable earning job, a marriage, kids,friends etc. I’m sure you’ve been blessed in other ways like health, family or the simple fact of breathing. Where I’m headed towards is: Have you ever prayed for specific needs or blessings you’d like to have in your life? I’m sure many people have and due to it not happening, they have given up on God.
Pray and Receive
Unfortunately, that’s the statistic on why you probably stopped believing, because you’re mad at God and feel unheard; yet disappointed. Maybe your faith dropped or apostasy entered which drifted you from the ways of the Lord. Now, is this you? Is this someone you know? I hope not.
Pastor Juan Carlos Harrigan once said, “You only prayed for what you received.” (source)
This is oh so true. Looking back, I’ve always prayed for my health and as the years go by, I have gotten so much better. The seizures may not be 100 percent yet gone, but I’ve seen God’s work in me.
You may at times think that He doesn’t care what you pray for. However, it isn’t meant to be given in your time of desire; but in His perfect timing. I’ve seen God’s hand in my health and how He daily glorifies himself through me. I’ve prayed for a seizure free family and that’s what I’ve received. Day and night, praying for my descendants to be strong faith in the Lord; and they will always be. I’ve prayed for a husband who is strong in the Lord and loves God more than he loves me; that’s what I’ll receive.
God Listens To Our Prayers
God listens to your prayers but it takes time and effort on our side to make them happen. You must first walk continually in His path, have a firm faith in Christ, and lots of patience. Most importantly, you shall not stop praying. The word of the Lord says to pray without ceasing. Pray and receive!

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Mathew 7:7-8
My family and I prayed for my sister who hated the verb “God” in a sentence; now she asks for prayer because though she says she doesn’t believe in Him, she’s seen the answered prayers in our life.
While she moved out of Berlin, she asked us to pray so her items would sell; which they did. She asked for specific projects to be successful, and they were. Prayer has power you guys. She asked for healing with all her traveling and not once did she get sick. God listens.
Though God listens to your prayers, there may be some which don’t reach him because of your own lack of faith. If there’s a lack of faith, there’s no power. If there’s no power, there are no results.
Scripture Example
When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”“You unbelieving and perverse generation,”
Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.
Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
This man asked, which showed faith. Then he seeked; which demonstrates not only faith, but perseverance. Lastly, he knocked to receive the blessing. Are you doing any of this; you need to do all three.

Oh No, My Family Traveled To Berlin
It was around the time my sister began to ask for prayer… She was in Berlin out with her friends when some American missionaries came up to her and her atheist friends to share the gospel. After her friend shushed them off, my sister goes: “Oh no. Sorry guys, I’m sure my mom sent them. ” Hearing this experience, she lived was hilarious to me.
When she shared this story, she wouldn’t stop laughing in shock and curiosity. “You guys sent them and I knew it was an answered prayer of yours, because they were from Texas; like you.” It was so funny since we are always praying for her. However, never prayed for this precise detailed scenario. So you see, she’s seen our answered prayers in mysterious ways. Now when she shares something we’re not in favor of, she’s like: Please don’t pray about this because every time you pray, something always happens.” So funny.
So you see, God commands us to Ask, seek and knock on a daily basis.

Which of the three have you done? Have you persevered or have you given up?
Don’t you want more than what you have? You too deserve to be blessed. You deserve to have and joy. Satan is the prince of this world and his only job is to kill, steal, and destroy. He stole your blessings and wants to kill your faith so you can have a destructive lifestyle. That’s not what belongs to you. Only through prayer, will you have what God has in store for you.
Belief in God, science, and the law of attraction has become a divisive issue worldwide. Personally, I believe that when we want something badly enough, and we persistently work towards it, we have a clear understanding of what we want and where to look for it. However, I also have a yearning for the existence of a higher power who ensures that things happen as they should; someone who listens to my prayers, provides comfort when I need it, and assures me that there is life after death. Therefore, I am currently in a state of conflict between my belief and my need to investigate. I appreciated the article, as it highlighted a sensitive topic in today’s society, and I admire your arguments and compassionate approach. Nonetheless, I am still unsure about what to believe.
Hey what’s interesting is a universal law that says what you resist persists. When it comes to manifesting when you really have to be patient and open to be allowing the universe work things out for you. Easier said than done. It’s important to remember to be present in prayer as much as you can. Even though you don’t have what you want, it is your spiritual purpose to be present.
